How we use AI
Last updated: 21 October 2026
We use AI where it helps people, and we always say when you’re dealing with it. This page explains how Ivy works, what happens to your data, and how we use AI in client work.
Ivy is an AI
Ivy, the receptionist on this website, is an AI voice assistant, not a person. She says so at the start of every conversation, in line with the transparency rules in Article 50 of the EU AI Act.
What Ivy can and can’t do
- Answer questions about Webliify, our services and our starting prices
- Play the receptionist for your business as a demo, with made-up details
- Pass your audit request to our team, if you agree
She can’t give legal, tax or medical advice, make binding offers or take payments. AI can make mistakes, so important details are always confirmed by a person.
What happens to your data
- Ivy only loads when you click to talk to her. Nothing is stored in your browser.
- Your voice is processed by ElevenLabs to understand you and reply. The replies are generated with a Google Gemini language model.
- We don’t store audio recordings. Transcripts are kept for 90 days, then deleted.
- If you request an audit and agree to be contacted, your name, email and business details are sent to our team.
The details are in our privacy policy.
AI in our client work
- Every AI receptionist we build tells callers it’s an AI.
- We use AI to help draft text and analyse data, and a person reviews everything before it goes live.
- We never use AI to create fake reviews, fake testimonials or fake statistics.
- We set up AI with data minimisation and short retention times, and sign a data processing agreement with every client.
